While bicycling down Scenic Hwy 30A recently, I passed one of the large decorative towers along the road in Alys Beach. Sitting high upon the decorative spherical finial/pinnacle of the tower was a little mockingbird singing at full volume and making it known beyond question that the monumental structure belonged to no one else.
